About Us
My Father and Grandfather where both in the piano industry having shops in the North East of England. So it was no surprise that I followed in their footsteps. I started in the piano industry at the age of 16 when I moved from Newcastle to London. I attended a course at the then London College of Furniture.
I then went to work for an English piano company called Danemann, where I learned to manufacture and tune the instruments. The next move was to a manufacturer called Knight pianos where I continued tuning and finishing pianos.
Then I received an Arts Council Grant to be a concert technician at Steinways and Sons, where I completed my formal training. I set up my own business in the early eighties and have workshops in London and Kent.
